How to spot a decent Cuban cigar?
Lots of counterfeit cigars will be offered to you in Havana.
This small guide is meant to help you in spotting fakes.
Look at the heads of the cigars: they have to be smooth and even.

Look at the colour and humidity of the cigars.
The colour should be dark and
even.
The colour should not vary too much from one cigar to the other.

Look at the top of the cigar.
The sheets of tobacco should be evenly folded with
no
unevenness. These indicate the use of lower grade tobacco.

GOOD
Also check the boxes. Good imitations are available,
but look for unevenness in
the
finish and deep scratches. Often the varnish is of lower quality.
